How fast can a gasoline cargo tricycle go?
Most gasoline cargo tricycles have a top speed between 30 and 55 km/h(18–34 mph),depending on engine size, load, transmission, and road conditions.
150cc engines:typically reach 30–40 km/h
200cc engines:common speed is 40–50 km/h
250cc–300cc heavy-duty engines:can go up to 50–55 km/h
However, when fully loaded or climbing hills, actual speed will drop significantly. For safety and stability, most models are factory-limited to around 40–45 km/h during normal cargo use.Higher speeds are not recommended for loaded tricycles due to longer braking distances and increased rollover risk.
