How can I tell if my electric cargo tricycle's battery is low on power?
You can easily judge whether your electric cargo tricycle’s battery is low by observing obvious signs in performance, display, and sound:
First, check the dashboard voltage indicator or battery gauge. When power is low,the indicator light will drop to the red zone,or the digital voltage display will show a noticeably low reading.
Second, watch for obvious loss of power and speed. The vehicle will feel weak when starting or climbing hills, acceleration becomes slow, and top speed decreases significantly even with a full throttle.
Third, notice frequent power dips or intermittent power. The motor may cut out momentarily,or power may suddenly drop when going uphill, which is a typical sign of low battery voltage under load.
Fourth, look at dim or flickering lights.Headlights, turn signals, and dashboard lights becoming dimmer than usual indicates insufficient battery output.
Fifth, pay attention to shorter driving range. If the tricycle travels far less distance than normal on a full charge, the battery capacity is declining and nearly depleted.
When these signs appear, you should stop using the vehicle and recharge it as soon as possible to avoid complete power loss during driving and to protect battery life.
